Masterconcept for Lviv 2022
Masterconcept (in partnership with US based firm Populous) has earned the Technical Consulting mandate for the preparatory phase of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games bid of Lviv 2022.
We have succeeded in a globally announced tender competition and are proud to be part of the sports- and tourism development of Western Ukraine and the City of Lviv. The tourism potential of the Eastern Carpathian mountain range, being located along one of the most important East to West transport corridors, is huge and a main driver of the project.
The Austrian / US team compliments each other well in international mountain development competence and Olympic arena design competence. The team is confident that the concept being developed will be a strong contender within the 2022 international bidding race.
New All Year Mountain Resort in Almaty
After many years of cooperations in Kazakhstan, Masterconcept has earned a strategic master plan and touristic positioning mandate for a resort near the city of Almaty.
The resort, which is 35km away from the city center, is located at 1.600m a.s.l elevation and is directly oriented North South. The resort is the gateway to the National Park and will offer a variety of summer and winter attractions. The future connection to the skiing hill in the west will increase the attractivity of the destination.
The iconic rock wall, the beautiful small mountain river, the pine tree forest and the stunning view to the high peaks are the main attractions of the resort.
